Thieving lowlifes...

This weekend we went to the Canberra Show and MJ had a good time. He really enjoys the animals and got to see loads and even got to touch a crocodile.  We spent all of Saturday morning at the show. Before lunch I lost my sunglasses which was the beginning of a great weekend...

On Sunday morning, Krysti took MJ swimming at CISAC in Belconnen and had her bag stolen. Whoever took it dumped the bits they weren't interested in (luckily clothes and towels) in one of the cubicles but took cash, keys, mobile, visa card and licence. Sunday afternoon we spent the day changing the locks for the house keys and yesterday we have started looking at getting the locks for the two cars re-keyed or replaced - we will need to get new immobiliser keys for the Outback and the immobiliser reprogrammed etc. I checked with Subaru yesterday and it will cost $920 to get the Liberty's locks and keys replaced and $1400(!) for the Outback!! There must be cheaper options out there. We also cancelled Krysti's credit card and mine too and we can expect new ones by the end of the week (when I lost my visa card in the USA a few years back we got a replacement Visa card within 12 hours!).

Not a good weekend!
